After our amazing year it was time to go back home. This felt like the saddest day of my life. Cami, for some reason had a dream of being picked up at the ferry terminal. So instead of flying from Vancouver to Victoria, we took the ferry. Unfortunately we only had a bag full of summer clothes and it was freezing out, haha thanks Cams!

We lucked out in Bangkok, finding a hotel with a pool on the 20th floor rooftop. It was a great place to see Bangkok and yet not actually have to be in all the craziness.

After being in Phi Phi for so long, being in Bangkok was a huge adjustment. There was always something going on, no matter what time it was. Bangkok was non-stop action, and it was just a bit too much to handle. Not a place I could have stayed in very long, but a really awesome place to see.

I had to show the beach, where “The Beach” was filmed. But I loved Phi Phi so much that it is hard to find a picture that really captures Phi Phi.

We left Aus, and headed back to Asia. We didn’t want to stay in Malaysia, so we headed right for Thailand. We ended up staying in Krabi for a few days. We were far more confident in traveling so we hoped on a bus and found an absolutely gorgeous beach. We were the only two people on the beach and it was such an amazing feeling. It was so sunny and hot, and we spent the day collecting little shells, which we later made into necklaces.

Life really was rough in Aussie.
I know that this picture wont look like anything special to anyone. But. The building on the left, middle row, was my old house in Bondi. Ah, such good times.
I have
known my
best buddy
since grade
4, she is the
best girl in
the whole
world. We
spent an
entire year
traveling throughout Thailand, Malaysia, and
Australia, and it was one of the best years of my
life. Living in a city without her just isn’t the same.
