Arrowleaf Cellars
http://www.arrowleafcellars.com/
Arrowleaf is one of my absolute favourite wineries, and I love their Pinot Noir and Zweigelt.
Tantalus Vineyards
Tantalus is another one of my favourite wineries, and definitely my favourite wine maker! They focus on growing only two varieties of grapes at a time and they have done Pinot Noir and Reisling, with Chardonnay and Syrah to come next.
Gray Monk
Gray Monk is a larger winery, and the wines are very fruity. I really enjoy their Pinot Noir.
Calona Vineyards

Calona winery includes as well as the Calona wines, the Sandhill and Peller Estates. the sandhill 2 is a very nice wine. Tree Brewing is also right next door!

JOLIDON
VITAMIN A
This is definitely one of my favourite dresses for summer. I know it is last years, but I still love it.
So I have to admit that I definitely don’t know much about art. And walking through an art gallery sometimes makes me think ??? I do know though, that some art is just so amazing & beautiful & is just instantly appealing. That is how I felt when I first saw the art of Bill Wilkinson. I love the colours and the texture of his pieces and I would just love to fill my house with them. Read more here

FOODLAND ONTARIO’S MULLIGATAWNY SOUP
Serves 4 as main course
Preparation time: about 25 minutes
- 1 tablespoon (15 mL) olive oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 tablespoon (15 mL) minced fresh gingerroot
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons (25 mL) curry powder
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 mL) cayenne, or more to taste
- 3 cups (750 mL) chicken broth
- 1 can (14 ounces/398 mL) light coconut milk
- 2 large tomatoes, diced
- 2 cups (500 mL) diced cooked chicken or turkey (optional)
- 2 cups (500 mL) torn spinach leaves
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) fresh coriander leaves
- Salt and pepper
Optional garnishes:
- Shredded unsweetened coconut (brown over medium-low heat in a dry skillet)
- Fresh unpeeled apple, diced small (sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent apple from turning brown)
1. In large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat; cook onion and potatoes until onion is softened, 3 to 4 minutes, stirring often. Stir in ginger, garlic, curry powder and cayenne; cook 1 minute.
2. Add chicken broth and coconut milk; cover and bring to boil over high heat. Add tomatoes, and chicken or turkey (if using) and return to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 to 20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
3. Stir in spinach just until wilted, about 30 seconds. Remove from heat; stir in coriander. Season to taste with salt and pepper. If using garnishes, sprinkle on individual bowls and serve.

My wonderful bro works at the Vancouver Island Brewery, and every Xmas time they release this wonderful beer. It is 9.5 % and tastes so delicious. I wish I had one right now…..
I am really addicted to knitting, I don’t know what it is but I am like a little grandma. I am getting a bit bored with just making scarves so I am looking to try some new things. One book I came across which is filled with cute summer clothes is Sexy Little Knits, by Ashley Paige. Here are a few of my favourites from the book.

Your life is simultaneously flowing in two realms today. On one hand, you are floating in the sweet dreams of your imagination. On the other hand, you have too much data to efficiently use what you know. Instead of pushing for a solution, explore ways to integrate your feelings with your rational thoughts.
Oh, I have always wanted a Vespa myself, and this picture is just awesome. I would love to be cruising down the streets of Milan on one of these. Gah….but the digestive system is fun too……
I also really love this photo as well.
And one more…

All I can think about it getting away for Christmas holiday’s….I still have 2 exams to go but it is soo hard to study for them….I can’t wait to see the fam again, all my friends and Matt….It is soo close but I still have so much to do before then….I am too excited……

New favourite tea!…This stuff is so good, I am addicted….AHHH…tomorrow is moving day…better go pack…..

Today I had to buy this toque. It is the best toque ever, and it is from Lululemon. It is now officially my first thing from Lulu. I bought black though, only because I know I am going to need to wear it everyday. It is so warm, and with the “sneaky brim” looks much better than a regular toque. Also I had to buy another ball of yarn for my scarf (3 balls so far)…but it is coming along. Now that the snow is here, I have to get prepared.
Woohoo!….It is finally time to take some photos……I am hoping for some SUN tomorrow!!
WOO!…..except I can’t load the bloody thing. I don’t know if it is a problem with the camera or with me, but I have wasted 4 rolls of film trying to load it. So frustrating……and it is taking all my effort not to try another roll…..but I am going to take it to the photography teacher at school tomorrow. I have waited this long I guess I can wait one more day…..grrrrr.
Any thoughts or ideas?….It is the Diana+
